Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This website is operated by FININT LLP, registered office 2/653, Manvayal, The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu, India - 643212 (“FININT”, “we”, “us”). FININT is part of an international group with companies in Germany and India. For any privacy question, write to cs@thefinint.com.

2. What information we collect

We only receive information you choose to send us through the inquiry form or by email: your name, work email, phone number (optional), company name, company website (optional), the region where your business is based, your preferred time zone for a call (optional), the services you are interested in, and the message you write.

Our hosting provider may keep standard server access logs (such as IP address, date and time, and the pages requested) for security and operation of the service.

3. How we use it

We use your information to read and respond to your inquiry, to assess whether we are a good fit, and to arrange a discovery call. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.

4. How the inquiry form works, and what we store

When you submit the form, your inquiry is sent directly by email to our business mailbox. We do not save inquiries in a database or on the web server. From that point the message is held in our email account with Google Workspace, like any other business email.

To limit spam and abuse, the server briefly keeps a counter of recent submissions per network address. The address is stored only as a one-way hash (not readable), is not linked to the content of your inquiry, and is discarded automatically within about an hour.

5. Legal basis

We process your information based on your consent, which you give by checking the consent box when submitting the form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. You can withdraw consent at any time.

6. Who we share it with

Inquiries are delivered through our email provider, Google Workspace, which acts as our service provider. Where needed to handle your inquiry, information may be shared with our group companies, mhe GmbH & Co. KG (Germany) and mhe india. We do not share it with anyone else, except where the law requires.

Some of these providers and companies are located outside your country, including in India, Germany and the United States. Where this applies, we rely on appropriate safeguards and on the obligations that apply to our providers.

7. How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond to you and, if we work together, for our business and legal record-keeping. If there is no business relationship, we delete inquiries when they are no longer needed. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the EU/UK GDPR and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to its use, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email cs@thefinint.com.

9. Cookies and local storage

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and icons are hosted on our own server, so your browser does not contact third parties to display the site. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device (key “finint-theme”). It is never sent to us.

10. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and the form is protected against automated abuse. Email is transmitted to our provider over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, so please avoid sending sensitive financial or personal data in the inquiry form. We will ask for what we need during onboarding through appropriate channels.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
